I'm being good, and trying to keep up with the books again now! Having completely read my height in books in half a year, the only way is up... who knows, I may read the height of a bungalow soon! So here I am, with 49 books left to read until the 120th of the year. I've already decided on what my 95th book will be... how sad am I! But this review isn't about book 95, it's about 71... so here goes.

Another Franchise book... but this time it's from Star Wars, rather than Assassin's Creed. I've read a couple of Star Wars books before, and enjoyed them... so this one shouldn't have been any different... should it?

I'll be frank, it was ok at best. It's set in the extended universe, outside of the films, so there should be a nice canvas to play with, right?

Now unless I've missed out on several series before this, I just didn't really get or enjoy it too much. The storyline just didn't seem to make too much sense to me. It's set past the end of Star Wars VI, but seems to be set in an alternate universe where Disney didn't make the pretty awful sequel trilogy.

So having been fed the sequel trilogy, I immediately had many many questions, which just didn't seem to be addressed in the book... why does luke have a son called Ben for a start. And it was these questions, that I found myself wondering about for the duration of the book. As such I didn't really take much of the book in. My bad, but it was annoying me so much!

I've given it 2/5 on Goodreads for this reason. Maybe if I understood it better, I wouldn't have been so confused!
